Here are some general remarks on how I trade:
- I only trade by Registered Mail. I'll send my coins/notes this way and I
also expect you to do the same.
- If you contacted me first I expect you to send your coins/notes first;
I'll send mine only after receiving yours. Of course if I've contacted you
first I'll send my stuff first and you'll send yours only after receiving
mine. I've swapped more than 130 times
until now; see list of people on this page.
- Due to Registered Mail costs I only trade 40 coins/notes on a single
swap; I will only accept a smaller number of coins when we're swapping bulky
silver coins. So if you cannot find 40 items that you'd like to have in
my lists probably we can't have a trade.
- I divide all my coins into 3 categories:
- Silver coins. They are marked light blue in the last column and appear
in the silver/valuable coins list; I swap them based on pure silver content
(more details inside the list itself).
- Non-silver coins that have a circulating (face) value bigger than 25 US
cents or 20 Eurocents. I swap them based on their face value; they also
are in the silver/valuable list.
- All the other coins plus all the banknotes. They are to be swapped at
1-to-1.
- I never swap coins based on catalog value; this applies to all the three
groups above.
- Even if you trade by value we could still have a swap with coins/notes
from my 1-to-1 lists: Assuming you can
find 40 coins/notes that you'd like to have in my lists, I will send you a
wishlist
(bigger than 40) with coins that I'd like to have from you; if you can
choose any 40 from that list that you would swap against 40 of mine then
we could have a deal.
